Introduction to the Technical Deputy Office
- Design and Architecture Section: In this section, two individuals with master’s degrees in architecture and one draftsman are employed and are responsible for designing educational and nurturing spaces. The presence of creative and motivated engineers and the use of diverse, modern and cost effective materials in recent years have led to the design and implementation of lively spaces distinct from uniform and typical environments, which has been well received by the beneficiary body and those involved in education, especially students.
- Structural Design and Calculation Section: In this section, three individuals with master’s degrees in structural engineering and soil and foundation engineering are responsible for designing and calculating structures of educational and nurturing buildings. Recruitment of talented and young individuals in this section has resulted not only in increased structural strength of buildings but also in economic savings.
- Soil Mechanics and Materials Laboratory Section: The duty of this section is to provide testing services for materials used in projects and to conduct concrete and welding tests, which are carried out continuously and according to standards. In this section, one building engineer is employed and has participated in necessary training at provincial and central organization levels. Considering the large number of ongoing projects and the need for concrete and soil mechanics tests, services of the private sector are also utilized in this section.
- Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation Section: In this section, one master’s graduate in structural engineering, one bachelor’s graduate in civil engineering and one building technician are employed and carry out cost estimation of projects.
- Surveying Unit: The surveying unit of the Technical Deputy is responsible for surveying delivered lands for project implementation, then handing over land to contractors, and surveying school sites for landscape design, determining volumes of excavation and embankment operations, and providing various elevation codes.
